How it works

From kickoff idea to final whistle

Everything Hubbolla does for organisers and players — from publishing a match through to post-game ratings and player stats.

Football match in progress

01 — Publish

Once the match is published

  • Nearby players receive notifications.
  • The game appears in local searches.
  • Friends and teammates can be invited directly.
  • Players request to join or accept invitations.

The organiser can:

  • Accept or decline players.
  • Monitor remaining vacancies.
  • Close registrations once the team is full.

02 — Team Confirmation

When all positions are filled

  • The match status changes to Confirmed.
  • All participants receive a confirmation notification.
  • The game is automatically added to each player's in-app calendar.
  • Reminder notifications go out (e.g. 24 hours and 2 hours before kick-off).

03 — Match Day

On the day of the game

Players check in using the app (optional).

The organiser can:

  • Record attendance.
  • Replace absent players with reserves.
  • Update the final score after the match.

04 — Post-Match Ratings
